Before I made the
decision to buy, I
spoke to several
AirRanger owners and
they all spoke very
highly of the
company and of their
boats. My original
plan was to have a
new airboat built
from scratch, so I
commissioned quotes
from all of the
reputable airboat
builders from
Florida to Texas. My
budget wasn’t big
enough, so I decided
to buy used and
alter it the way I
want. Once we made
it to the shop, we
settled in to our
new home for the
next few days. Every
American Airboat
customer can stay at
the lodge located
next to the shop.
The lodge is
basically a big man
cave. You could
launch your boat in
the back yard and
zig zag your way
through the swamp
into the gulf. The
Floyds don’t know it
yet, but I think I’m
just going to start
vacationing down
there! Here’s my

job on the

I wanted to
thank you for building such an amazing
airboat. I have owned several airboats in
the past and this one is far superior than
anything that I have driven. My expectations
were high and this boat is way better than I
thought possible. It will literally go
anywhere. Hard sand, no problem. Like you
said, "if you get this boat stuck, your
gonna need a helicopter to get you out." I
now believe what you were saying. I used to
have to work the stick to break it loose.
Not anymore. At 4200 RPM's, the boat lifts
up and walks off anything. This new Mast
Engine (Tornado) is unbelievable. You have
power to burn. Anyway, I could go on and on
but I'm sure you hear this all the time.
Once again, thanks for everything. The whole
process was seamless.

phone call from a customer...
I bought an airboat from Stan Floyd at
American Airboats in 1985 or 1986. I called
to say that I have taken my airboat "everywhere"
and that airboat is "still going strong."
Stan Floyd was/is "ahead of his time in
the airboat business!"

Last week it was at our County Fair on
display, nothing but nice comments on the
boat and workmanship. This week we have had
it on the river once already and getting
ready for a second day. It handled
outstanding and is a dream to operate.

To the
Staff of American Airboats,
My first contact with Faron back in
Early 2005, was a result of my research
of airboat manufacturers. I had
first visited another shop down the road
and was not impressed at all by their
operations. Upon arrival at
American airboats I was impressed at the
cleanliness of the shop and the
organization of it. So in September
of 2005 I took delivery of my 18 foot
Air Ranger, with the 502 engine and
Holley 4 barrel (pure muscle) ,
what a beast, there was not anywhere
that boat wouldn't go!! I remember Stan
telling me that his airboat
will retain its value, I am thinking
“yea right”. |

Well in 2010, Faron sold my
05 airboat for a little bit
more than what I paid for it back in
September of 2005. So like a kid in a
candy shop I ordered my 2010
airboat, last April working with Faron
and Sallie!! Wow new 2010 with the 496
fuel injection, oh hell yea!!!
Best of all it runs on regular gas!! In
September of 2011 I picked up my new man
s toy freshly painted with
the new camo design. At delivery again,
I was so very impressed with the
professionalism exhibited by Sallie
and the staff. I have enjoyed my new
2010 airboat so much! The craftsmanship
is beyond compare to any other
airboat manufacturer period! Nuff said!!

Last year our
department received a grant for an
airboat. We looked at several places
but we were drawn to American Airboat
Corporation. My deputy contacted them
and gave them what we needed. After a
short time we were called and told it
was ready for pick up. I went with my
deputy to Orange Texas to pick it up
and to get the training needed to run
the boat. When we arrived at American
Airboats we were treated like we were
the only people that mattered. They
were very helpful with everything.
They took us out on an airboat ride to
show us the area. The next day we went
out in our new airboat and were shown
what the capabilities were, how
everything works, the do’s and don’ts
and how to handle such awesome piece
of equipment. |

There wasn’t anything
that wasn’t covered. Since
we have taken the boat home they have called
several times to see how it is working and
if we have any questions. I would recommend
American Airboats to anyone not just Law
enforcement for a place to by your airboat.
The owners and employees treat you like your

"My dad
and I want to say thanks for taking
the time to talk with us about what
kind of hull to go with and the
options we needed for what we were
going to do with it. The Rhino hull
with the 496 and the master blaster
prop. The boat has the performance
like no other boat can have. We use
the boat for hunting waterfowl in
areas where prop boats cannot go.
People look at the mud flats and tell
us we are going to get stuck. They
wouldn't try it in their airboat but
we go right across the mud flats in
the AirRanger like its in the water.
We also use it for bow fishing and let
me tell you its a blast. You can't ask
for a better built machine than what
you guys build. We are proud owners of
your product.

matter where we go with the AirRanger,
Sallie, people are just amazed at the
quality and say they've never seen anything
like it. Every time we're on the interstate,
there are people staying back along side of
it taking pictures and giving a thumbs up
when they come by. It's hard to pull in
anywhere with it to just do what you need to
do because someone wants to look it over and
talk about it. It is just so much fun. We've
had people sit and wait for us to load just
to see it go on the trailer which by the
way, the guys have gotten quite good at
loading.

and Stan and tell them we couldn't be more
pleased with how everything turned out. Your
entire organization came through for us
meeting all our expectations. Even after
almost a year, we still are just amazed at
how the AirRanger performs and the quality

I would like to thank you for your recent
follow up phone call concerning the purchase
of our AirRanger 2001. As stated, the Park
has been extremely pleased with the product
from American Airboat Corporation.
The airboat is being used by our Law
Enforcement Rangers to patrol the Park's
marsh and wetland areas and is also being
used by our Natural Resource Rangers to
conduct research within the Park's Preserve.
I've been told that the power and
maneuverability of the AirRanger is
unmatched by anything we presently own. It
is certainly the "Boat of Choice" for our
Rangers in the field.

The Perfect airboat
I would like to thank you for the
professional way I was treated when I picked
up my boat. The registration of my boat and
trailer went without a hitch because of
supplied paper work. The more I drive my
boat the more I am impressed, the boat far
exceeds my expectations. The quality of the

I have been using the boat on the frozen
lakes here ice fishing, its awe inspiring

the boat from the "test ride" to the
"mechanical" and maintenance. Everyone is
asking me if the boat and the company was
"everything I had hoped it would be". My
answer is simply "NO". There was really no
way I could have envisioned the performance
of the boat rising to the level that it did
let alone the professionalism and care of
your company and staff. So my answer to them
is " no it didn't meet my expectations, it
far surpassed them!"
I feel like I was taken very good care of.
In retrospect, I consider the choice to go
with Air Ranger as one of very good fortune!
